Welcome to Bhava ("we," "us," or "our"). Bhava is a matchmaking application that uses Vedic astrology (Ashta Kuta compatibility) to help users find meaningful connections. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and share your personal information.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Service is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take immediate steps to terminate their account and delete their information.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
In addition to the rights listed in Section 7, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Bhava does not collect biometric data. We do not use facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, or any other biometric identification technology.
Bhava offers an auto-renewing premium subscription ("Bhava Premium") at three durations — weekly, monthly, and yearly. Premium unlocks features such as full kundali visualization, deep koota compatibility breakdowns, advanced matrimonial filters, viewing who has expressed interest in you, and additional curated introductions per day.
All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID, in accordance with Apple's standard billing terms. Bhava never receives or stores your credit card number, billing address, or any other payment instrument details. We receive only an anonymized transaction state from Apple — whether your subscription is active, when it was first purchased, and when it expires.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. You can view the current renewal date for any subscription in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
You can cancel an active subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents the next renewal but does not immediately end your current paid period — premium features remain available until the end of the period you've already paid for.
To cancel: open iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions, tap Bhava Premium, and tap Cancel Subscription. Bhava cannot cancel your subscription on your behalf because we do not control your Apple ID billing.
Refunds for subscription charges are handled by Apple, not by Bhava. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase. Apple decides whether a refund is granted in line with their Media Services Terms. Bhava does not separately issue refunds, store credits, or partial credits.
If we change the price of an existing subscription, Apple will notify you in advance and require you to re-confirm the new price before the next renewal. You can decline the new price by cancelling the subscription before the renewal date, in which case it will not renew and your premium features will end when your current paid period expires.
We retain a record of your subscription state (active / expired / cancelled) and the dates of each subscription period for as long as your account exists, and for up to ten (10) years after account deletion as required for tax and financial compliance (see Section 6). This data is not shared with advertisers, marketers, or any third party for any purpose other than the operation of the Service and compliance with legal obligations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other appropriate means (such as email) before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
